After-school activities

The parents and citizens' association coordinates after-school activities to supplement, but not replace or compete with, learning opportunities provided by the school.

These activities are arranged by the after-school activities sub-committee and endorsed by the principal. In choosing activities, the sub-committee considers a range of factors including: quality and reputation of providers, availability of space at the school, timing and duration of sessions, and the cost to parents. Activities are reviewed regularly, so please feel free to share any feedback or ideas for future activities.

If you would like to join the sub-committee or suggest an activity, please contact Jeanette on 0411 205 919.

Important notes

Activities are run by external providers, and individual providers' terms and conditions apply. Questions, payments and enrollments should be made directly with each provider—the school office is unable to assist with enrollments or payments for after-school activities.

Not all activities run for the full 10 weeks each term. Please confirm exact dates with the activity provider when enrolling.

If your child is attending Gowrie Out of School Hours Care before or after their activity, a permission note must be completed to allow the provider to sign your child in or out of the program. Please email Gowrie to arrange permission.
