In our classroom
Every classroom provides quality differentiation in English and Mathematics. Teachers design lessons that challenge students at their point of need through explicit instruction, extension tasks, and opportunities for deep thinking, abstraction, and creativity.
Across our school
Students can access a range of enrichment opportunities across different aspects of school life, including SRC, the Green Team, Choir, and competitions such as creative writing programs. Our specialist teachers in the Creative Arts offer advanced learning experiences in music and visual arts. Our school also supports sporting enrichment through representative sport, gala days, and school-based programs that help students develop advanced physical skills, teamwork, and sporting excellence.
Across NSW
Students are encouraged to represent the school and extend their talents through participation in state-level competitions, performing arts showcases, leadership initiatives, and representative sporting pathways. These experiences enable students to challenge themselves, pursue their interests at a higher level, and celebrate excellence alongside peers from across New South Wales. We also maintain strong partnerships with our local high school to provide extension experiences and smooth transitions for high-achieving students.
Our school actively encourages students to extend themselves through a range of academic competitions and challenges. Students can develop confidence and communication skills through public speaking and debating, showcase their vocabulary and word knowledge in the Spelling Bee, and nurture a love of reading by taking part in the Premier’s Reading Challenge. For older students who enjoy problem-solving and logical thinking, the Maths Olympiad and Maths Games provide opportunities to tackle complex mathematical challenges and work collaboratively with peers. These programs help students build perseverance, critical thinking, and a sense of achievement beyond the classroom.
Our school provides a wide range of opportunities for students to develop their skills and talents in the physical domain through sport and dance. Students can represent the school in swimming, athletics, and cross-country at zone, regional, and state levels, celebrating achievement and sporting excellence beyond the school setting. Those with advanced ability and enthusiasm can also participate in Primary School Sports Association (PSSA) trials across a variety of team sports. In addition, our dance groups for K–2 and 3–6 allow students to express themselves creatively while building coordination, confidence, and performance skills through rehearsals and community showcases.

Our school offers a vibrant music program that nurtures creativity, teamwork, and confidence through performance. Students can audition for one of our three band programs, join the school choir, or take part in the ukulele club to develop their musical skills and enjoy making music together. Talented performers also have opportunities to showcase their abilities through Cadenza performances and at Erko’s Got Talent.

Students also explore and develop their artistic talents through a comprehensive Visual Arts program. Students experiment with a variety of media and techniques—such as drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and digital art—to express their ideas creatively.
