Welcome from our principal

Our ethos at Erko pervades everything we do. Our approach to academic learning and in all creative, cultural, health and social domains is student centred.

We value the individual and strive to support each student to reach their potential and to follow their path to success in the wider context of being a contributing and positive community member. We are inclusive, collaborative, respectful and supportive of all students and our community.

Our staff are experienced and dedicated educators who demonstrate outstanding pedagogical practice, assessment and a variety of teaching styles to support our students diverse learning needs. Our programs are constructed to reflect our ‘Low floors, high ceilings" ethos where students are challenged in all lessons and curriculum.

Our core values are Resilience, Creativity, Respect and Responsibility, and these values inform all aspects of practice in our school. We have an engaged and supportive school community whose contributions are valued by staff and students alike.

I invite you to explore our website for an idea of the many programs, initiatives and events that make our school the positive, productive and successful school it is.
